Hi,

Finally our house is stuccoed! Wow! Did I struggle over the color choice and am embarrassed to say that I lost a lot of sleep over it. It wasn't easy trying to picture how it would look on our home. In this picture the color looks more orange than it really is - mostly due to the setting sun. After a few weeks I have finally adjusted to the new look and am pleased. It was a hard adjustment since we were used to the expossed adobe. This picture was taken mostly for the cloud formation. It was just a beautiful stormy day. Those who know me well know that I LOVE rain and thunder/lightning storms. So of course I was outside enjoying the beautiful sky and weather.

New link for my Photography

I recently created several galleries for my photography. I found that this blogspot and my www.scrapbook.com/places/Cheryl+Walker links were inadequate for displaying my photography for potential clients. I really like the new website I am using and hope you do also.

The picture above is of our daughter JiL swimming in a lake recently. This page is in the scrapbooking gallery. For family members: I know it must be confusing to some of you with all the pictures of other children in my galleries. I may in the future make a distinction between client pictures and family, but haven't done so yet. I hope you enjoy browsing anyway.

Hi all - What a beautiful day it is! Give thanks in all things! We are so blessed to have a God who loves us unconditionally. I pray that your day is blessed as you turn to the one God - the only God. He loves you and desires a relationship with you. And in the famous saying of evangelist Billy Graham - "Go to church next Sunday."

Tim has been so busy working on the house. He just seems to be everywhere working on many different things at once. He says that he has so many things to do that he is "beside himself". Of course there is always the Tim who has to supervise.

Mom's Quilts

My mother is a excellent quilter. Over the years I have acquired a number of her quilts either as a gift or purchasing (at a discount of course). I always hated to put them away in the closet or storage bins. I recently found this southwestern style ladder to use as a display. Now a few of them reside in our living room where we can enjoy their beauty and also a nice cozy covering is always at hand.

Everything Beautiful

The flowers are from a lone desert-rose-bush in my xeriscape garden. They are everblooming and provide a beautiful pink color in the garden.
